A plan for the holiday: Alex's secret pilgrimage

It is the Friday after thanksgiving and the Students and Citizens of the city of Lunacity were all preparing for Christmas. So much so, none would suspect that one resident's mind was already set...

Alex: (Looks at the calendar) it's almost that time of year again.
Arcadia: Really, Dad? You're gonna go again?
Alex: -nods- I do have an obligation to uphold. Besides, I'll be back for Christmas.
(Ash barks at Laguna, wanting a bone from the box She made for him)
Laguna: Here you go, Ash, Nyaa Nyaa.
(She purrs as she hugs Ash)
Alex: If Tio asks... Tell her I'll be at the North Pole.
Arcadia: And Lite and Dusty? You know you can't leave them...
Alex: ... I know. I just wish I could bring you guys.
(He says, yet has an idea) you all can help me then.
(Laguna looks out the window)
Laguna: Think the Warden and Miss Lizzy-Beth will have the city looking pretty?
Alex: -nods- They haven't disappointed yet, have they?
